Artist Bio

I was born in Pittsburgh and raised about 25 miles north of the city in the small town of Mars, Pennsylvania.  My professional art career began 20 years ago in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I began making and exhibiting monotypes at New Grounds Print Workshop, a group studio. In early 2003, I opened my own small studio in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill and, within a couple of years, moved to a larger studio in the Harwood Art Center. My husband and I moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 2012. Since January of 2013, I’ve been renting press time and printing monotypes at a friend’s studio in The Button Factory in Portsmouth. I also have a small home studio where I write and work on small projects.

My monotypes are in private collections throughout the United States as well as in the public collection of the College of Santa Fe.
